My first ecclesiastical offering. This green cincture has been completely hand-woven on an inkle loom (see the gallery on my website, www.TheMedievalNun.com for a picture of my loom). It is approximately 97” long (8’1”), with an additional 3” in length for either set of hand-knotted fringe (103” total). It is ¼” in width. It is a true Kelly green, appropriate for standard days on the church calendar (i.e. non-feast days and non-holidays). Made from 100% 2-ply mercerized cotton.
