I made this necklace from a pattern in one of my bead magazines; the creator said she had based her design on tatting. But when I worked the pattern up in white, pearlized glass beads and little Swarovski crystals, both my husband and I independently declared it looked like a necklace made of snowflakes.
I thought this would be a lovely necklace for a bride. It is dainty and delicate and has an heirloom look to it. It will wear in any season, of course, but what winter bride could resist wearing it? It would also go beautifully with a lace dress, especially a vintage one.
Made with genuine Swarovski crystals and glass beads. Clasp and other metal findings are 10kt heavy gold plate. Approximately 18” long.
